Rofo.com San Francisco based Commercial Real Estate Search Engine Rofo.com launched today (March 26, 2008) after a period of outcubation and a private beta for short period. Rofo vies to improve the user experience in finding an office space online. Currently, it is quite difficult for users to get a good perspective on what options they have available for their next office space. Rofo simplifies the process, makes the data transparent so that the user knows its options and can conduct research on his own, and make an informed decision based on market data and with the help of network brokers.

Overview
Finding commercial space for your business should not be a frustrating and lengthy
process. Rofo is designed to eliminate the wasted time associated with making
calls on outdated listings and touring spaces that don’t meet your criteria.

Rofo is the first website truly dedicated to creating an open network for businesses
to address their commercial real estate needs. That may include finding
commercial office space near public transit, a desirable neighborhood retail space
or a warehouse space. It may also involve finding the right resources and
professionals to help you negotiate the best deal, move your business, build out
your commercial space or advise you on green building.

“Rofo is the place to simplify your search for commercial space,
connect with local real estate professionals and find related service providers to solve
your commercial real estate needs.” said the co-founders Alan Bernier and Garrett Krueger, both veterans in the commercial real estate industry.

AdPerk.com, a San Francisco-based video advertising and micro-payment solution that we have worked on for 6 months finally was launched by Barry Soicher and Kevin Goodman. Congrats to the AdPerk team!

AdPerk has partnered with Dwell magazine, where AdPerk users will get free Dwell magazine issues for watching video ads.

AdPerk has an advanced analytics/reporting functionality, video management process, as well as an intuitive flash-based user-facing UI. The Flash player asks the user to confirm the fact that they viewed the video by entering some captcha code, this way, the advertisers are guaranteed that the user was paying attention. Advertisers only pay for these confirmed views, which makes it different from how pre and post-roll video advertising used to work. Also, AdPerk is choice-based, users can pick and choose which ads they would like to view.

The interaction design was done by us, while the UI design was done by Michael Rylander from Witt|Rylander. OutCubator team produced the entire system from scratch, from initial design to conception.

AdPerk is a patent pending technology.
